Shorin is 366 pixels compared to Kuwabara at 538. Kuroda measures 588 pixels vs Kuwabara at 538. Kazemaru measures at 549 pixels compared to Kuwabara at 538. Togashi isn’t usually so nice, giving us all important characters at once (Minus Yusuke, Genkai, and Rando) Now, let’s jump to some Genkai’s tournament characters… So Botan, who uses a surrogate body of sorts in the living world, is a perfect candidate. This is all well and good, but I’d also like to get a static character height from someone who won’t be growing throughout the series… this is for when those pesky teenagers get taller in the later arcs. Hiei (Including his hair) is at 210 pixels vs Kuwabara’s 291. 955 * 1.8 (Kuwabara’s height) = 1.719, which we can round to 1.72 m Kurama is at 278 pixels vs Kuwabara’s 291. Kuwabara measures at 179 pixels vs Keiko’s 145. So instead I’ve had to compare Keiko and Kuwabara. It’s been surprisingly hard to find any good comparison pics between Yusuke and Keiko. 454 * 40 cm (Given size of Daisuke’s head) = 18.16 cm, height difference between Daisuke and Keiko.ġ65 (Daisuke given height) – 18.16 = 146.84 cm, but for simplicity let’s round it up to 1.47 m, Keiko’s height early on. We can see in this pic that Daisuke is 84 pixels taller than Keiko. It’ll be a bit tricky, but even still I prefer it to using arbitrary numbers. We have to use Daisuke to scale to the other characters like Yusuke and Keiko, and unfortunately we’ll have to use those established heights from those two to get others like Kurama, Kuwabara, and Hiei. Luckily, not much more than a month goes by in the first arc of Yu Yu Hakusho, so we can get some pretty accurate results. To make matters more difficult, most characters in this series are teenagers, so they’d probably grow as time goes on. Unfortunately we are only given three heights officially throughout Yu Yu Hakusho, and none of them are main characters. You can read up a bit more on my reasons why here if you want to know more. Because Yu Yu Hakusho (To my knowledge) has no databooks, I have decided to use the few given character heights in the series to try and determine how tall characters are, rather than giving them arbitrary ones as I have in the past.
